Our 2021-2022 Visits
We may arrange visits to local galleries, historic buildings and performances at various theatres. These trips give people a chance to get to know each other better in an informal atmosphere. Although we are restricted by our geographical situation in the south west corner of the country, we may arrange several visits a year, mainly day trips within Cornwall and Devon, but will also consider visits over several days, either to somewhere in Britain or overseas.
Some of the visits are not organised by us, in which case they would be shown as such, for example 'South West Area Event'. The Visits Secretary would be able to provide information to help you, with all events.

Polperro Artists - Talk and Exhibition
Synopsis:
Henrietta Boex will be giving a guided tour of the Polperro Artists exhibition at the Falmouth Art Gallery.
This is of particular interest as it relates to the lecture we’re having on this subject in March.

The Penlee House Collection - A 25th Anniversary Celebration
Synopsis:
We are delighted to announce our first outside visit for almost two years!
A fully guided visit including an introductory talk in the first gallery before moving on to view the other exhibits within the exhibition.

Special OnLine Tour of Rome!
Synopsis:
As real visits are on currently on hold for this Programme Year, we have arranged a special OnLine Tour of Rome!
We have a treat in store for you in the form of a virtual tour of Rome's historic squares and fountains, given by Blue Badge Guide Stuart Harvey. This will be at 10.30 a.m. on Friday 9th July, so do pop that in your diaries. We're offering this to members free of charge as an extra lecture to this year's programme, to thank you for your loyalty in remaining members of our Society and adapting so well to the new way of attending lectures.
Venue: A link will be sent to all members on 8th July to enable them to join the virtual tour of Rome in the usual way.
